Our History
Mid 1900s
Mazzel Luigi buys the old mill in Canazei from the Valentini family and transforms it into the Soreghina hotel.
Fine del '900
The management of the hotel continued with Donei Teresa, his widowed wife with her 4 sons: Flavio, Renzo, Livio and Renato. All four sons worked hard, some in the kitchen and some at the reception, while Renzo managed the nightclub “Tabù” very popular at the time, which was located under the hotel.
1980
The management of the Hotel Soreghina continued with Mazzel Renzo and his wife Psenner Matilde. It was renovated in 1980 with the help of their daughters Patrizia and Barbara.
TODAY
Since 2012, Hotel Soreghina has been managed by Mazzel Barbara, Salvatore (the hotel's chef) and, last but not least, by her mother Matilde, who still gives her special touch to the hotel today.
